As you have heard in previous podcasts Gerri and Eugenia are from Adelaide, Australia and they were lucky enough recently to interview another Adelaide girl who has made it big in the US at Supanova in Sydney www.supanova.com.au. The show they discuss is Dollhouse and the Adelaide girl is self confessed Geek Girl, Dichen Lachman who plays Sierra, one of the “Actives” or Dolls who have their mind wiped taking on the personality of another to complete missions.  Is this show a new concept with its premise or has it been done before?

Listening to this podcast made me think about my own life and reminiscing about my first experience of Sci Fi. Both in the programs that I watched while I was growing up and conventions that I have attended. Not to mention all the wonderful people that I have met during that time.

I really enjoyed listening to G and E and I can't wait for the next one.

I have to say I just loved listening to both of you talk about the multitude of wonderful Sci Fi programs that have been on TV and at the Movies over the years. My first experience of Sci Fi was Star Trek The Original Series and I have followed the Star Trek Genre ever since. Some of my other favourite Sci Fi shows include Stargate, Babylon 5, Star Wars and Lost in Space to name just a few.

I also have brought my two children up to love Sci Fi and we are all on tenter hooks waiting for the new film to be released.

I have attended several conventions here in Australia, mainly in Brisbane. Although I have to say my best expreience was the 40th Anniversary of Star Trek held in Las Vegas.

Thank you again for your podcast and letting everyone know that it is absolutely ok to be female and love Sci Fi.

Looking forward to the next one. :-D
