In this episode Eugenia and Gerri cover about 70 years of Science Fiction from Doctor Who to Farscape to Stargate with the only actor (well as far as our research shows) that has participated in three of the longest running Sci Fi shows over three continents! Farscape an Aussie Sci Fi show deserves to be watched by so many more Sci Fi fans. With the use of Jim Henson’s puppetry, its strong characters, and how the puppets seemed like real characters with actors bringing them believably to life. Ben Browder talks about how he wanted to work with Jim Henson’s company, loved working on Farscape, his move to Stargate and Doctor Who! Wow Ben Browder could be every Sci Fi fans ultimate actor! Thanks go to Oz Comic Con’s Carissa, Rand, and Maggie from www.ozcomiccon.com.
Gerri and Eugenia attended a convention with the inimitable Stargate Atlantis actor David Hewlett, Dr “Meredith” Rodney McKay. David is a great showman, he kept the audience entertained, so we thought that you might like to hear him too. He talks about Stargate Atlantis, his love of Doctor Who and the movie he wrote, directed, and starred in “A Dog’s Breakfast”. So get listening!
Join Gerri and Eugenia as they bring back some memories about the not quite gone and certainly not forgotten, Stargate SG-1. From everyone's favourite Jack O'Neill to the Farscape takeover towards the end of the series. If you loved Stargate SG-1 then you don't want to miss this podcast.
As a Geek if you could not have a TARDIS, then the next best thing was a Stargate! If you are a fan Eugenia and Gerri have a treat for you! In this episode they discuss the many incarnations of Stargate from the film to SG1 to Universe! They discuss the strong characters that appeared in this franchise and that were not only limited to the men! Many films do not make a good transition to the smaller screen, but Stargate was one of them, it was full of humour, did not take itself seriously and allowed us all to think that it could be one of us. Eugenia and Gerri have a treat for all the fans of the franchise with not only one, but three interviews from icons from the show. The inimitable Gary Jones who played Walter Herriman, the “Gate Guy” who is the one that takes us to all three incarnations of the franchise, then Teryl Rothery, Dr Janet Frazier, the one that we lost and who could “kick-ass” any medical condition that came her way and finally the “Woman in Charge” Torri Higginson, the first non-military leader in the franchise. Gerri and Eugenia would like to thank, Carissa, Rand and the crew of OZ Comic Con www.ozcomiccon.com for their interviews with Teryl and Torri and Darren and Jason from Gifts for the Geek, www.giftsforthegeek.com.au for the interview with Gary. Enjoy this very special episode.
Eugenia and Gerri discuss the many years of entertainment that Stargate has given us over the years talking about the SG1, Atlantis and of course the youngster of the crew Universe. This favoured show still resonates today with Sci Fi fans with its strong stories lines and believable plots and its Doctor Who ability to have major cast changes and still be relevant. Characters grew over the years and with the use of Egyptian mythology set the show in a place that gave us familiarity. In this episode Eugenia and Gerri talk to two of the shows actors that made an impact, Christopher Judge and Corin Nemec, the one that grew his hair and the one that was swapped for Daniel! Thanks to Carissa and Rand from The Hub Productions www.thehubproductions.com and Gift for the Geeks at Supanova Expo www.giftsforthegeek.com.au

Who in their childhood did not want to be a movie or TV star when they grew-up? In this episode Eugenia and Gerri discuss some of the younger actors that we see on our big and small screens! They discuss the roles that they take on and how they help tell a story and make it more real! Some of the kids that are on our screens are not even able to watch the shows/movies that they are in because of the rating that is then put onto the show. Some of them have scared us silly and some of them have made us laugh and long to do what they are doing. So what else do they have for you? Lots! They have not one, not two but three interviews for you in this episode, Chandler Riggs who plays Carl in popular The Waking Dead and Jodelle Ferland who has been seen in many genre shows. The last interview is with Chandler’s father William Riggs who is not only his father but also his teacher. They hope that you enjoy this insight into the younger actors in our favourite shows. They would like to thank Daniel and Lionel www.lionelmidfordpublicity.com from Supanova Pop Culture Expo and you can find them at www.supanova.com.au.
